The 'Sibton Coop' is the smallest coop currently produced. This coop is suitable for 6 - 10 birds, but that is obviously dependant on the size of birds you keep. Like all of the coops, this coop is constructed using the best materials available; please check out the 'Technical Stuff' page for full details.
The main body of this coop measures 1 meter x 70 cm and the coop stands 1.5 meters high.
The main features of this coop are:
A secure external nestbox on the rear of the coop. The nestbox is subdivided into 2 seperate compartments. The roof of the nestbox is hinged for easy access and the roof and hinges are silicon sealed to prevent water penitration.
2 meters of perch space. The perches are shaped to prevent damage to the birds feet whilst perching. Both the pophole and large side access doors are secured with 4 inch tower bolts.
The coop has gable end ventilation which provides a good airflow through the coop but prevents drafts. The roof of the coop is secured by 4 bolts which are removable to allow the whole roof to be removed easily for thorough cleaning. The roof of this coop is made from shiplap timber and not covered with roofing felt. Roofing felt can be bad news for chicken coops as it can provide a perfect home for the dreaded mites. The standard legs of this coop raise the coop 45cm off of the ground. This helps prevent damp ingress and prevents rats and mice nesting under the coop, a common problem with low rise coops. Whilst large and reasonably heavy this coop can easily be moved by 2 people.
THE SIBTON RUN
The Sibton run is designed to provide external space for your birds, but in a protected and controled way.
The run measures 2.5 meters long x 1 meter wide and stands 1 meter high. The main features of the run are: A large, secure access door beside the coop providing easy daily access for the chicken keeper.
A secure pophole at the far end of the run to allow the birds to roam free should you choose to let them out.
A valuable covered area under the coop providing a dry space for feed and water as well as a place for the birds to shelter from the sun or rain.
The run is easily removed from the coop and can be carried by 2 people should you wish to reposition it and can be dismantled for storage or transportation. The coop and run are available in a range of colours, please click on the 'Colours Page' to see the range available.

The coop can be dismantled and will fit into larger estate cars and small vans. If in doubt please email for advice.
